The aim of the ‘Healthcare Etiquette Training Workshop’ is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to work in a healthcare setting –providing the learner with an awareness of the importance of etiquette and effective communication when engaging with people (patients, clients, residents, service users, family, carers, significant other, staff and all allied health care professionals) in a health care setting.
Meet Sonya Carr
My name is Sonya Carr. I am a qualified nurse with over 30 years’ experience working in the healthcare industry in various roles from Staff Nurse to Assistant Director of Nursing. I have taught pre- registration student nurses and healthcare attendants in the acute hospital setting, nursing and residential homes.
I have taught pre-university nursing students and healthcare attendants in a College of Further Education.
I believe my experience gives me a unique perspective on the importance of ‘Healthcare Etiquette’, and this is why you should contact me to discuss providing this invaluable workshop for your students/staff, so that they are prepared to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
